My speakers kept shutting down after half an hour of playing low volume things, so i had to google up what's up with that and it turns out all speaker monitors manufactured / sold in europe since 2013 or so have been having to comply to this regulation. It's supposedly a good thing to save energy overall but there is no direct way to disable it and it can get really annoying when you are trying to listen to something low volume and your speakers keep going on standby every half an hour forcing you to crank the volume up, wait a few seconds and put it back down. I found this "hack" of playing a 10hz sound (that we can't hear but activates the speakers) which i turned into a webpage that i bookmarked and can now just open up and set it to play on loop when i want to do things in low volume and not have the speakers "standby" on me.
