In other news, I can almost record from my retro consoles again! Which made me wonder... what makes for a good review? Nowadays, it seems to be common practice to 'review' a game whilst only having very little experience in the game or its background. Personally, I'd like to always complete the games I make a review on, but the downside of this is obviously that it takes much longer and involves a lot more effort, especially if the game in question isn't all that great.
Now, it's not like I'm going to change my ways, this is how I like to do things, but I am still curious how others look at this. Do you get as annoyed with these, seemingly rushed, reviews as I am? Or do you think a first reactions segment can function perfectly fine as a review piece?
During my Vlog Thingies I just talk about whatever has come up recently. This can either be in the gaming industry, YouTube or my life in general. It's just a way to genuinely and unscripted share with everyone what's going on for me. I talk about my interests, experiences and opinions and give you a glimpse of what's going on in that big head of mine, after I've dusted out some of the cobwebs of course.
