Vlog Thingy 29 Mar, 2016: New Capture Card & CD-i Collection Update
31New capture card got! Which means I can capture from actual hardware again, sweet! After initial testing, I love it so far! Time to hook up that old CD-i and dive into that big library once more in search of some actual goodness... and cringe at all of the terrible stuff we find a long the way too of course.
Speaking of CD-i... over the weekend I finally sat down to properly catalogue my collection of CD-i software and I must admit, the collection aint half bad! Still plenty of room to expand though and quite a few 'big titles' that are still missing. There's also quite a few games I would love to find in the English language still, as I only have Dutch copies in a lot of cases. They make for poor English YouTube video's!
Finally, I'd like some input on our 'Let's All Play In: The Battle of Olympus' project. I can now record it once more on the actual PAL hardware. However, the NTSC version moves MUCH quicker. So, what do you prefer? NTSC via emulation, or PAL via real hardware? Most votes win!
During my Vlog Thingies I just talk about whatever has come up recently. This can either be in the gaming industry, YouTube or my life in general. It's just a way to genuinely and unscripted share with everyone what's going on for me. I talk about my interests, experiences and opinions and give you a glimpse of what's going on in that big head of mine, after I've dusted out some of the cobwebs of course.
