This is an example of the audio distortion from my mic. No non usb microphones have ever done this to me. It will randomly distort like this, though usually after 20-30 minutes. I think it might be the frequency that I use in Audacity not matching the microphone's preferred frequency and thus kind of interferes with itself as I record. This is raw audio save for a tiny bit of noise cancellation which does not affect this problem. Near the end of the clip it clears up. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Things I've tried:
Updating drivers
Adjusting recording rate (can continue to adjust it however as I've only tried a few options so far)
Unplugging microphone and replugging it back in before recording.
Swearing at it


As you can see this is super annoying and the quality drop angers me to no end which is the primary source of no video updates. Anything that could be longer than a few minutes gets messed up like this and I feel really bad due about it. Also, I can't stand to listen to it when I play it back, and I refuse to put out anything that I can't sit through myself.
