Durga Khote was one of the foremost leading ladies of her times of Indian Cinema. She wasactive in Hindi and Marathi cinema, as well as theatre, for over 50 years, starring in around 200 films and numerous theatre productions. She was Born on January 14, 1905, Mumbai, India. She was awarded the prestiugious  Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.
