In this review, I delve into the world of Void Wizard, a procedurally generated rogue with fast-paced action and fantasy elements. Despite being a fan of rogues, I find them to be a double-edged sword. Void Wizard drew me in with its visuals and upbeat music, but the gameplay was a different story.

Starting on my Steam Deck, I quickly switched to PC for smoother control, enhancing the experience significantly. The game offers a variety of wands, dual-wielding, and even a surprise gun, making combat engaging and dynamic. However, the difficulty spike towards the end and the repetitive level design left me with mixed feelings.

While Void Wizard is fun and has great replayability, it may not hold everyone's attention long-term. If you enjoy FPS games and rogues, you'll find something to appreciate, but be prepared for a challenging ride.
