Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer (Arcade) Playthrough
Around 4 hours 50 minutes to beat. This became a backlog project that was sitting in my folders on my PC unfinished, so Ive been killing off some of the harder ones lately. Gunner's Heaven and the INSANE Gun.Smoke are games I recently finished and put up tutorials on. One of the hardest fighting games I can remember beating in a while. I go through hundreds of these types of games, and 2D fighters on default settings tend to take anywhere from 40 minutes to 1 hour 30 mins. This one took much longer. The final two bosses alone probably took over 2 hours. I am usually pretty quick at exploiting AI and finding repetitive patterns, moves that the AI struggles with, but in this game it was very tedious. I really had to go through all the different fighters and try different cheap tactics. I rarely used special moves as I often dont when exploiting AI in these games, but it depends on the game. The final form of the final boss is EXTREMELY cheap and basically counters everything you do. In the end I needed to use a very specific character and play super defensively , only countering at certain openings after certain moves. Trying to attack him normally at all often meant getting comboed to near death in one combo. You can see in many of the rounds, even exploiting the AI, I barely win many of them. I believe I had to re-fight some enemies for some reason, maybe accidentally loading previous save states to save time on loading screens. So that may have made things take longer. Its completely legit, I just make saves at the beginning of some fights since I dont have to go through the continue screens (games like this tend to have unlimited continues, so its faster if you are using a certain character over and over again)
Lost matches edited out. I havent seen too many legit playthroughs online of the game. I saw a 1 CC run which was great and I modified a final boss tactic from that video in my run. I saw another video that had an invincibility cheat and another that had the difficulty set down to level 1. I was unable to change difficulty on MAME otherwise I would have, but beat it in the end.
Stay tuned !!
