Vox Aeterna - Left 4 Dead 2 Custom Campaign Gameplay

In this video, I’ll be playing a custom campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 called Vox Aeterna, with Ellis as my chosen character.
Vox Aeterna is a five-chapter custom campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 developed by a team led by Ænima², who also published it on the Steam Workshop. The campaign is set in a desert-themed environment inspired by ancient Egyptian excavation sites. Players start their journey at an abandoned train station and progress through diverse locations: a military outpost on a wasteland highway via caves and cliffs (Chapter 1), an ancient tunnel and cliffside path (Chapter 2), Ash to Ashes, which is based on Dust II from the Counter-Strike series (Chapter 3), and Hall of Pain (Chapter 4). The campaign also features a unique melee weapon that swings quickly and deals high damage to the infected.
While the visuals are impressive, the gameplay balance may not appeal to everyone. Some notable issues include duplicating Special Infected, an increased horde limit, and reports of an unbalanced finale. To address this, an addon by BubRaccoon restores the campaign’s balance to vanilla standards. Despite these challenges, Vox Aeterna remains a visually stunning custom campaign, and I’ll leave the links below for you to check out.
