very meaty game and such good VR mech combat with awesome scale, weighty inertial physics and great virtual cockpit interactions. SP campaign is nice too, enjoyable story and environments, some funny dialogues, just wish there were achievements. Fully playable offline and lots of customization options for map, time of day, weather, game modes, squad sizes, length of a match, guns, mechs, avatar customization etc.

in many ways, this reminds me very much of Battlezone 2016 and NMS alien environments.

graphics are good enough, shiny surfaces, most notable for the smoke trails and dynamic lights from fires

I got it last year, but other big incoming releases meant I didn't put that much time into it. today's final release for Iron Rebellion brought me back and I don't think I need that one... nothing like having a good backlog with plenty hidden gems...
