I broke it with some dynamite because I was messing around with it. That was fun. After placing an exploding dynamite near the bottom layer (causing the smoke plume) wasn't fun enough, I decided to dig to the bottom and place one there. I exploded it, causing the same sort of issue, except it also caused an issue on the "ground" layer. Went to place another and could no longer place or delete anything.
