In VR you can improve Non-VR Flat2d games; adding Real 3D and giant IMAX-size screens, or even Full VR mode (instead of being an spectator watching the game in a Monitor/TV image , the game is around you).

In this video I'm using VorpX but you can also check HelixVision or any other software that can give you similar results for VR.
The Real 3D cannot be fully perceived since this video is a 2D image itself, but the point was to showcase these additional ways to play with VR.

You will see only Real 3D playing VR, or Real Life :)

**The results shown are much better than the normal SteamVR Cinema and the 3D glasses previously used on 3DTV (also here you can aim directly using your head).
