UPDATE: After posting this video originally, I learned from a redditor that the original iPhone X specifically is worse than other phones in the line that have TrueDepth technology! Allegedly, other phones in the line should be mostly similar to each other, WITH THE EXCEPTION of the iPhone X. If you are getting a phone for face tracking, avoid the X!
XS and XR are fine, as are other phones in the line.

One extra note: when I said the eye/mouth tracking was similar, I meant when the head was facing forward. You can see that the eyes are much better tracked on head turns on the iPhone 13, but when I was talking about it that's more a part of the improved head turn tracking. Hope that wasn't too confusing!

This was a super interesting experiment to me, because I didn't expect the newer iPhone to make so much of a difference. FaceID has certainly improved a lot over the years!
