As requested by a couple of people, I have recorded the OpenGL API and put it up against Vulkan in this side by side comparison video. As you can see, Vulkan has quite a leap on OpenGL but comparing to DX11, it is still a ways behind. Don't read to much into it though, as Vulkan is more of a wrapper and no multithreading in this game but does show that Vulkan is indeed alive and running.
