Ⓦ Fallout 4 New Survival Walkthrough ▪ Part 19: Suppressor for Overseer's Guardian
*Please remember to comment/rate and let me know what you think, thanks!*
Nevermind, *this* was the first part after I finally updated to the official 1.5 patch.
Anyways, I make a quick sweep through Mystic Pines on the way back to Sanctuary to pick up a Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor mag (which I probably should've picked up on the way to Covenant, but I wasn't thinking about it at the time).
Once back at Sanctuary, I make a level 3 weapons shop, which I'll temporarily station the Vault-Tec Rep at to try and get a suppressor for my Overseer's Guardian.
If I wanted to mod one myself, I'd have to wait until level 39 for rank 4 Gun Nut, but you can find suppressed combat rifles from weapons vendors much earlier and just take it off of those (in my experience, level 21-24 seems to be the best range for trying for a suppressed combat rifle; you're probably at the right range if you're seeing a lot of hair trigger and automatic combat rifles).
It would've been nice to find one with a calibrated powerful receiver and/or a long light barrel, but I'll be able to make those parts soon enough, anyways.
I also do my first round of mass-producing Vegetable Starch (with some Berry Mentats for an exp-boost). Even if you don't need more adhesive, making Vegetable Starch is still a great way to get some quick and easy exp.
I also finally get rank 4 Sneak, which is one of the most important milestones for a stealth build. You wouldn't know it from reading the description, but rank 4 Sneak completely silences your footsteps when you're in sneak mode (regardless of how much your armor weighs, how much you're carrying around, etc.; you can even sneak around in Power Armor).
My stealth build is nearing its full power, which will come in quite handy when I take on the Tradecraft mission in the next video...
