Canceling VATS right after firing a shot will often lead to some delayed hits, but I've never had one as bad as ~10:07 until now. Magic bullets, I guess.

This mission can be a bit easier if you go ahead and take out some choice enemies before talking to High Rise the first time (especially with a stealth build, since it's harder to get sneak attacks when enemies are fighting other NPCs), so you end up not fighting the enemies that are scripted to spawn for the mission and the enemies that are already there at the same time.

That is, of course, if you don't want to just sit back and let High Rise and H2-22 do all the work (since enemies can't actually kill them, as far as I can tell).

After the mission, you can go into Ticonderoga and have a lovely little looting session.

I save outside Railroad HQ before turning in the quest, so I can re-roll receiving the Mercer Safehouse quest (the next step to getting Ballistic Weave) until PAM tells me to go to Outpost Zimonja.

IIRC, she'll prioritize whichever settlements out of Taffington, Zimonja, and Jamaica Plains you haven't unlocked yet when selecting which one to send you to, and since I'll finally be going out to rescue Preston next and then doing The First Step, I might as well do the one that's in the same general area.

Also, my companions seem to be glitched here and not wanting to go back home, since I found MacCready still just standing around Railroad HQ in his undies when I got back (and Deacon had the same behavior when I dismissed him). I managed to fix it later on by simply exiting and restarting the game, fortunately.
