SAMURAI SHODOWN, also known in Japan as SAMURAI SPIRITS, is a fighting game originally released by SNK in the year 1993 for Neo Geo.
It is a game set in the 18th century, where most characters use melee weapons, and is more focused on single attacks rather than combos. It is aesthetically very neat, and has been ported to several platforms, such as Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo Game Boy, Sega Mega Drive, Sega Game Gear, Sega CD, Sega Saturn, 3DO, FM Towns, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and Xbox, and more recently, for PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in the Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection compilation.
You can learn in more about SamSho 1 on Supercombo Wiki, Ice Queen's guide on Gamefaqs and on SNK Fandom, which served as a reference for this video.
