And so here in part 2, I managed to recall the safe spot to take out that monster blocking the path and take next to no damage as a result. (He's near impossible to beat if you try and do so normally.) And we're basically lured into a warehouse by a nameless thug whom we have to gun down three times before we can take the key and get out, only to find the police station has been instantly wrecked by a giant monster that's the toughest to tackle by far at this point in the game, mostly due to his gimmick.


I took the slow but safe route to deal with him mostly because he'll tear you apart if you try and do massive damage quickly by hitting him in the back of the head which is his only weak spot. Afterwards we make our way into River Park, and finally find the guy who's been blaring on our pocket radio, and finally give Amanda her medicine. We then get a little bit of a plot dump and revelations on who's behind this and finally get a lead on the main baddy.


Amanda in return for saving her life tells us of how to get into the old town district by a hidden manhole under a water tower, leading us through another sewer system with baddies we can't kill, and are soon faced with blasting away a living wall. After that we enter disk 2, in a far quicker fashion than I had done in my previous run of the game.
