And so at long last we encounter Clive in battle, and he's by far the easiest final boss in any game, due to how simple he is to avoid in both forms. He takes far fewer hits than Cassandra, and is far more easily avoidable. Unless you deliberately play badly you won't die to him if you play even remotely competently. So he's wrong on Cassandra being the weaker of the pair by a mile.


However despite having had a bit of health left before letting you win, Cassandra willingly lets herself die by not even attempting to stop her bleeding from the wounds she did receive from Lila. She essentially stayed alive long enough to make sure Lila did succeed in her mission, and to have her make a promise. Fate is a harsh mistress but so ends this tale.
