In this War Thunder Video tutorial I provide a little historical background, then I fly and review the P-400, the P-39N-0, and the P-39Q-5 Tier-2 / Rank-2 American fighters. All 3 utilize the same airframe and very similar flight characteristics however they have different armament. The P-400 is equipped with (1) 20mm cannon, (2) 12.7 mm machineguns, and (4) 7.62mm machineguns. The P-39N-0 is equipped with (1) 37mm cannon, (2) 12.7 mm machineguns, and (4) 7.62mm machineguns. The P-39Q-5 is equipped with (1) 37mm cannon, and (4) 12.7 mm machineguns. Overall I find the P-39s hard to fly with the joystick, however with mouse aim the wobble effect is not a factor.
