War Thunder is a free to play game by Gaijin Entertainment that involves Air to Air PvP combat (with AI Ground Units) and Tank PvP combat that scales compared to your type of unit's battle rating. It has a simulation as well as Arcade modes and as I have not played any simulation due to my low tier units, I will explore those realistic features in the future.

In this game you can grind to the top tier units as you progress or buy your way to the top but there are no buy to win mechanics that allows advantages over other players and the buy to win mechanics only deals with unlocking units and skins which makes this game an absolute must play for any of those guys that love simulation games.
