Sigh, it's a 5/10 for us and here's why...

Blizzardvision have done something unprecedented, that is the sort of move only an idiot would make and not expect the sort of blow back that Reforged has gotten. They took everyone's game, that they could have bought up to 18 years ago, and have drastically changed the way that online play and modding function. It is indefensible, to say the very least, for a company to sell a product that functions one way, then a decade later retroactively change everything about that product in an attempt to filter their player base into a new product for sale. They should have maintained the integrity of the original Warcraft 3 and offered players the choice to switch to Reforged because it was a better product, not force those players into doing so because of the inferior nature of online elements and the overreaching as hell new WEUA and other slaps to the face of the modding community. Almost all of the blow back this company and game has been receiving is absolutely earned and is understood by our channel. That said however....

The game has never looked this good. The work the art team has put into Warcraft 3 Reforged is staggeringly beautiful. To say that this is a "half assed reskin" is not only dishonest it also undermines all the legitimate problems you have and makes people view you as a giant baby with an outrage bus to ride. If you want people to understand your criticisms and get behind you on them, you can't turn a blind eye to all the hard work that went into Reforged, that had nothing to do with BS decisions made by business men to filter a player base into a game they won't enjoy because everything now has been changed. These artists and graphic designers and everyone responsible for this game looking as gorgeous and updated as it does, deserve some recognition for the hard, and damn fine, work that they have done. To indicate otherwise by saying things like "the graphics are questionable" is an insult to an incredibly dedicated group of people who have redesigned one of our favorite fantasy worlds, and did it exceptionally well and true to the world.

Anyway that's why we give it a 5/10. The campaign still holds up as one of our favorite RPGs and fantasy stories and is made even better in presentation by the hard work of the visual team that did a very good job indeed. Then the other half of the game got BLIZZVISIONed. 5/10. Half a good game. Love, Jax & Chubbz
