Warframe is a free-to-play action role-playing third-person shooter multiplayer online game developed and published by Digital Extremes. First released for Windows personal computers in March 2013, it was later ported to PlayStation 4 in November 2013, Xbox One in September 2014, Nintendo Switch in November 2018, PlayStation 5 in November 2020, and Xbox Series X/S in April 2021.

The Duviri Paradox is an alternative introductory quest to WARFRAME, following the journey of the paradoxical Drifter in Duviri instead of starting with the traditional Warframe path from the Awakening quest. It was introduced in Update 33.0 (2023-04-26).

For players who have started on the traditional Warframe path, The Duviri Paradox becomes available again once players have gained access to the Codex after completion of Vor's Prize.

First-time players will be greeted by the Lotus, who informs them of two different paths to begin the game: the Warframe Path which leads into Awakening, or the Paradox Path which leads into The Duviri Paradox, and that both paths will eventually converge.
