So this bug has something to do with how the files for the event were installed. If they didn't install correctly the game will freeze every time you try and load the missions. The way to fix this is to uninstall and reinstall Warframe on your playstation.

Edit: This was patched the weekend after the update came out, but I'm leaving te videog public for posterity.
