3"After a rocky start, I delve back into Warframe to get a look at the gameplay beyond the tutorial. Unfortunately, I seem to have miscalculated, as the character selection screen in the last video led to a somewhat more permanent decision than I had anticipated, relegating me to a default space ninja suit that I didn't really want to use long term. Thanks again for telling me so much, Warframe. Between that, the game's instability issues, and its offensively transparent abuse of the open beta self-designation, I can't say I'm enthused about returning to this game in the future."

The 1st 15, our new first impressions series, is quite simply the first fifteen minutes of my time with a game, for what that's worth; no more, no less. First impressions go a long way in setting the tone for how well a game is received by its audience, but this should not be treated as an end-all, formalized review.
