A short cinematic showing how cool this new feature is.
This footage is from a 4v4 total destruction match on the map "Floods" that lasted 2 and a half hours. Redfor won the game.

This assault was very successfull for multiple reasons.
I seems as if my direct opponent had saved up a lot of points for a push and with this I forced him to deploy them early.
If he hadn´t done that then I would have been able to push right through to his spawn zone.

It seems as if he had a Blue Dragons (South Korea&Japan) Airborne Deck full of special forces Infantry and planes wich allowed him to react very fast to this threat.
Quite a spam deck if you ask me and he also played like that, suiciding transports etc.

Not only did he commit all his saved up points, but he also panicked a little bit and used extremely excessive artillery bombardment on my forces. There were 8 MLRS and a few howitzer guns shooting multiple salvos at my units.
By doing that he emptied 4 FOBs! and a few Chinooks in no time, so that Blufor ran out of supplies quite fast.

Later on he managed to kill all of my assault force, but only after my units had killed all of his special forces infantry, countless helicopters and other units.

He also needed the help of another player to do that wich helped my teammates on the right side.
My AA, especially my BUKs on my side of the river, also managed to kill a lot of his planes.

My assault force consisted of multiple waves.
1. Spetsnaz VMF in BTR-90 and Razvedka recon in Mi-24 (wich sadly got shot down)
2. (the one featured in this video) Morskaya Pekhota in BTR-80 and VDV in BTR-ZD. MT-LB Strela-10M
3. Much more VDV in BTR, Strela-3 Units in Mi-8
4. Logistics Mi-26

Amphibious assaults, done right, are extremely usefull if you ask me.
