Wargame: The only way to win is to not play
9By which I mean you just sort of sit there for the majority of the game. The build up phase where both sides jockey for a good position before massing enough troops always bothered my in supposedly realistic war games, as the idea of a sector getting more or less troops based on how much land they take as compared to how important the sector is seemed stupid to me. How in the hell do you take defended territory to get the points needed to take the territory? Thank god the defenders don't get to start defending either.
This still is a pretty fun game, but I do feel it definitely has flaws which would make it impossible to play for most people.
