To be honest, Vermintide 2 doesn't really offer that much new over the first game. Save for a few changes in loot systems (they now come as chests instead of rolling for loot, and are much more generous), a few extra enemies, and minor revamps to characters, Vermintide 2 is more of the same over the first Vermintide.

But that's okay, because I liked the first game - and the first game had some flaws that were fixed in this version. It's no longer really possible to have private matches with yourself, but the assistance of other actual human players makes levels easier - and I also feel that the AI in this game is slightly smarter than the first (which was one of my chief grievances with the first game).

If you're just looking for more of the same, this game will be right up your alley. It just feels so fun to be smashing rats' heads in with a melee weapon all over again.
