Last race was slow, but with much fewer settings this time around, naturally the seed goes by much faster this time. That said, the name of the game here was logic breaks. Breaking logic always has innate risk since if the chest contains nothing, then you had wasted your time. However, it can also lead to just as big a reward, as shown here. Routing to get to such chests can be convoluted, but get something massive as a result and you can easily make up for all the time that you used to get the chest in the first place.

In a WL3 Rando, your objective is to get the 5 music boxes, the golden glove, and either pair of overalls, then beat the final boss as fast as possible. The treasures are always randomized, so each seed will play differently, and the settings you choose can enhance that experience. The speedrun category is Any%, so you do not need to get every chest. Other progression items will be necessary of course in order to reach those chests, but the aforementioned items are what you need to finish the game.

Settings used:
* Map Shuffle: The maps throughout the game are shuffled, besides The Temple. Example: you could find The Tidal Coast (N5) to be located where N1 normally is.
* Restricted Music Boxes: The Music Boxes will only be located on the bosses.
= Difficulty is set to normal mode. This is the standard difficulty, which uses tricks that you'd normally do in normal gameplay as the logic. Tricks such as bouncing off of an air born enemy that you threw are out of logic. Tricks that use glitches are also out of logic. They can still be used, but they may not be progression.

Other possible race settings that are not used in this race:
* Key Shuffle: The Keys and the Music coins within each stage are shuffled. Example: you could find the Grey Key for N5 near where the Red Chest is.
- Powerful Start: You automatically receive 3 random powerups immediately. Chests that would've contained these power ups are taken out of play.
* Open Mode: You automatically receive the chests and items necessary to open up the 4 parts of the map (6 total). Chests that would've contained these items are taken out of play.
* Music Boxes Anywhere: The Music Boxes can be located in any chest, and are not restricted to only the bosses.
* Golf Shuffle: The golf holes are shuffled amongst each other. This also includes the golf holes normally only found in the GAME tower, which is unlocked upon getting all the colored crayons in the base game.

QoL Settings Enabled:
* QoL Items Starter Kit: Receive the Magnifying Glass and Daylight Shifter immediately. Chests that would've contained these items are taken out of play.
* No Junk Items: This setting removes the junk chests. Chests that would've contained these items are taken out of play as if they were already gotten. Combined with the QoL Items starter kit, you will be able see what chests contain nothing.
* Temple Hints are set to Next Quest Item (strategic). This points you to where the next progressive item is. Note that these hints may guide you to a stage that you haven't unlocked yet, and they won't tell you which specific chest it is; only the stage. Note: Temple Hints are set to next item if the music boxes are restricted.
