Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch is a mahou shoujo (magical girl) anime featuring schoolgirls whose identities are mermaid princesses of the seven oceans. When faced with powerful water demons in human-like forms, they attack by singing, which hurts the water demons' ears (although it sounds beautiful to humans).

Legend of Mermaid is the first battle song that Lucia, Hanon, and Rina sing as attack against the Dark Lovers. This orgel (from the Dutch, meaning "organ") version plays from Lucia's music box.
