During the Nintendo Treehouse, they were showcasing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, at one point, a member played as Mr. Game & Watch, (which is one of my favorite fighter) and did a forward smash, which is Fire Attack, however, Sakurai mention on Ult., Mr. Game & Watch will showcase more of its roots include Fighter Attack, but apparently, it seems he turns into a Native American, and some were concern.

But before I continue, I'm well aware of the history and understand why some would be offended, I have no problem with that.

But at the same time, I feel sorry for Sakurai, who is a hard worker, all he wanted to was to make each franchise more accurate to its roots. Sakurai already is given a hard time from Waluigi not being a character to DLC, including Pirana Plant. Last is sadly he can't just get a break, what they do, someone will just get offended. Interesting enough that there were some Native Americans who weren't offended, but to each of their own.

Yes, Nintendo did respond and state that they will change Mr. Game & Watch's Fire Attack Smash from a Native American to Bandits. I don't have a problem with that since in Game & Watch Gallery 4, Fire Attack was modified to change the antagonist to Bandits, it even said on the game's premise.

Also noting that the video will not have an politics in it, I basically giving my thoughts, was it the right thing for Nintendo to do, yes, is it a potential censorship, I don't think so, it's just more of the principle. This not the same as Sony's backward policy on censorship like what it happening to Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal.

All I can say, sadly it seems it's getting worse and worse since 2015, and in my opinion, it would be nice where there would be less politics in videogames.
