I found this little beauty through a program called Sega Channel years ago. The early generations, N.E.S, Sega, Super N.E.S etc was always trying different things, sometimes the ideas flopped. Other times they created gems like this one. I will be doing a full stage by stage clear of this one, as its an old favorite of mine. Enjoy!

Tips and Tricks: Always utilize the terrain to your advantage, when you scroll over it if it has a higher percentage its more advantageous, but keep in mind the game has hidden rolls for lack of a better term that run behind the scenes. So even if you had the better defensive square, (advantage) the enemy may still wreck you or vice versa.

Also even if the stage says "RUN AWAY!" You don't necessarily have to rush, case in point stage 1 here. As long as you don't get too reckless you can still devourer a bit of experience for yourself. ;) pun intended. The main objective however if you cannot fight them is to make it to the road square towards the bottom left of the map.

One last thing, you may notice I never buy troops for Baldrov, to me its a waste of resources. Hes already maxed out and pretty strong on his own. If you can avoid it don't let him get kills, save it for your main or other generals. But he is still useful as a weakener for the enemy troops if he is below 10 hp, and great for weakening generals just enough for your newbie generals to finish off.
