Yo Joe! No seriously back in the day when I first played this, I swore the general on here Thorne was Duke from G.I.Joe. The whole blond buzz cut, red & white stripes behind him that looks like a flag, just looked out of place in the game. At any rate so stage 3, now your probably thinking your terrible letting them citizens die!

Lol ok them units are utterly useless, and what is with the A.I. hiding the general behind them, their not protection, their useless. Oh well, this game is very random, so despite how well you play sometimes you will be forced to reload especially during these stages where you have to protect a unit you can't control.

Because sometimes they are just really dumb, like Thorne for instance, on my first play through he left his good defensible position and ran straight at one of the generals while he still have 8 hp and died. So technically this was try 2 here. If your going to play it, just keep that in mind, its not always you, its mostly the random acts of PC controlled characters & the hidden rolls of doom behind the screen.
