Wasteland Junction! (Flood Escape 2!)
1This map is very Green! Okay.. for lore reasons, this is kinda funny what Character had to go through this map, considering not just the color... but something else, that may sneakily, yet briefly be explained in some other more Important Video. That said, and aside, this map is absolutely evil on fog!
This is either my 6th or 7th attempt on this map, and funnily enough, I nearly beat this on my first darn try, (and I was pulling a lot of weight on that run, with so many people dead early on). Every other attempt was butchered by the Fog Map Event (because it's hella brutal on this map!). The 5th attempt I died on, because I only then realized the long jump to the lower platform, has the Sandswept Ruins "long jump to ladder" Gimmick, where the wedging actually matters.
So moral of the story is, Fog is an evil Game Mode that came back on my 2nd, 3rd, & 4th attempts on this map (all three attempts where I died so brutally early on, lol).
Opinions on the map? I like it. I need to play it more times to come up with a stronger opinion on it, but I will say, I like most of the choices they made, for Gameplay. I had absolutely next to no problems with its sight-reading. That's AWESOME! And of course, I really like its design. My ONLY real criticism I have with the map, is that I feel it's not that clear to most players that they're jumping into Acid, and not Lava, in that one swimming section. Lava being introduced as Green before hand, is definitely what confused most players. I got it immediately on the 1st attempt, because I saw that the Lava Textured was barely visible (which meant "Acid", to my brain), but I doubt everyone's gonna catch onto that, so quickly, simply because of the color Green. It's a very very minor critic from me, but otherwise, solid map, imo. Again, this recording is my 6th attempt.
