This is rage, a very highly anticipated open world fps,It's one of the few games that use the Open GL API, the game looks pretty amazing but relies heavily on the compute performance of your graphics card to do GPU transcoding. As a result if your Graphics card wasn't strong enough in that department you would experience a noticeable lag in texture rendering and you will suffer from Texture popping. The AMD Radeon R9 290 has very decent compute performance and does a great job with this game. My only problem with this game is that it is hard locked to 60fps, whether you have V-sync dissabled or not the out come is still the same, well at least its not 30fps. As a result i wasn't able to get the maximum out of my R9 290 as the GPU load on this game was never really over 50% at anytime so my R9 290 didn't need to use my maximum core clock of 1240mhz, Apart from that the game looks very nice and i have a decent playing experience. enjoy the video
