Wayne's World (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
80A playthrough of THQ's 1993 NES game, Wayne's World.
If you were searching for one of those games that everyone, with very good reason, warns you to steer clear of, may I present the NES version of Wayne's World. At least the SNES version could rely on the capabilities of the system a little bit to get across the humor of the movie. This one doesn't "succeed" quite as well - most of the time you are being attacked by ninjas, TV screens, and cats while wandering through locales that are vaguely reminiscent of something like you might remember being featured in the movie. Of course, I don't remember scaling the side of buildings, endless scaffolding, nor shelves filled with donuts that look like toy car tyres happening in the movie, but then it doesnt really matter. It's not like it's the faithfulness to the movie was really its strong suit to begin with - if it has one - but it's definitely dedicated to whatever it is that it seems to do. Take that as a positive if you will.
