WD-40 Spray Game gameplay (Freeware game for the WD-40 Fan Club; 2001)
9Short gameplay footage of the advergame developed by JV Games and published by the WD-40 Company as a promotional perk for members of the WD-40 Fan Club in 2001, both on their website and as part of a free CD-ROM sent to fans.
The game was all but forgotten save for a few passing mentions on websites and professional game reviewers, though JV Games appears to still remember it after all these years. I do vividly recall playing this game at school for the heck of it, but while it did make for an interesting novelty it was ultimately boring and lacked the wow factor in my opinion. I do plan on making a short documentary once the staff member over at JV Games share their insight over this game's creation.
