Hello everybody, this game is not a normal game. Although this flash game might be a little short, the meaning behind it it's too deep. I'm sorry I rambled so much, it just made me think…

What I got from this was the following:
The 5 steps that could change him (in the order I encountered them)

1. Visiting the cemetery: opening your eyes to remember we all end up there. Death is the only thing we are 100% sure it's going to happen to all of us, at the end of the day we end up in the same ground, without importances of social class, money, skin color, friends, etc. Enjoy your life, because sooner or later, that's everyones fate.

2. Getting fired: getting away from being the replaceable pawn for the big corporation he was working for. It is not worth being on those famous "9 to 5" jobs, where you spend our life working for a job you find boring, you don't enjoy, you don't like. Getting fire gives you freedom again.

3. Petting cow: step down the car to appreciate our surrounding environment. How many times do we drive through the same street? The same routine. Still, we've never stopped to see what it's around. How much do you really know the places you go everyday? Get a breath. Animals are another living thing, connecting with them is being in a non superficial level, more close to ourselves.

4. Catching the leave: similar to the previous one about appreciating things. However, I think that connecting with nature is just a whole other level. It's more gratifying than what you think. Be aware of nature.

5. Suiciding: the end of your life. If hope is the last thing ever lost, then there's anything else to do. Getting to that point is sad, but a reality to a lot of people. The saddest part is, what we all face through life, as a bad job in this case, is never worth our lives. Nobody will care more about your life than yourself. Take care of yourself.

Every Day the Same Dream is a short, 2D art game that puts the player in the role of a man whose life is about to change. Developed for the Experimental Gameplay Project at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009, the game has been described as "a beautiful game with a very bleak outlook." talian creator Paolo Pedercini claims it is "a short existential game about alienation and refusal of labor." It has been compared to Passage by Jason Rohrer and Don't Look Back by Terry Cavanagh in that it is "an interesting, potentially fascinating experience."

Plot:
While the game lacks a traditional storyline, the course of events has the player control a white collar worker and guide this avatar through the daily grind. If the avatar gets dressed, drives to work, and sits at his cubicle, the dream will restart from the initial bedroom scene. An old woman in the elevator offers the cryptic message: " more steps and you will be a new person." Once the player deviates from the predetermined path and initiates five specific interactions, the dream restarts in a new state with the player's avatar as the only person in the game world. When the player next returns to the office and passes the empty cubicles, the avatar stops to watch an identical character leap from the rooftop, and the game ends.
