It all started at the gas station. We couldn't have been more than ten. I remember your eyes, the deepest shade of blue. You grabbed my hand and said "gee, sometimes I wish I were dead." So I helped you to enjoy the view. 'Cuz we're all just spinning 'round a star that warms our ground. So I'll take comfort in the fact that we're so small. I've been searching for the truth, but I found a home in you. Maybe we need each other afterall.

A man of 63, he turned and said to me "you're so young child, so why are you so sad? Enjoy the scenery. Y'know, the stars smile down on me each night reminding me that life's not bad." 'Cuz were all just driving straight, maybe that's not the only way. Since when is everything just white and black? Now I know my truth but yours is up to you. Just remember: you're not able to turn back.
A couple aged by time laid in their bed one night contemplating their imminent end. Despite the suffering and their fleeting memories, they both agreed they'd do it all again. Because love transcends this earth, so how much could it hurt appreciating all that you have gained? Be you happy be you sad the cosmos have their plan. No matter circumstance each life ends just the same.
