Please take what I say with a grain of salt...please forgive my ignorance and incompetence for I am not the most poetic when it comes to issues such as diversity or equal rights, but I felt this was something that had to be brought up. Again, my intention was not to hurt any feelings or sound divisive, but I merely wanted to bring this issue to light so that others may be aware of it.
The machinima community is hurting by the lack of female involvement and female content. While there have definitely been some positive steps made in recent years, I feel we need to do better and welcome more women into our community. While I don't have the answers on how to solve this problem, I do believe if we create more content involving more women then our community may become more diverse in the coming years,
Again, I'm not an expert on this, but with Hollywood taking the necessary steps towards more female empowerment, I feel our community needs to do the same. If you agree or disagree please feel free to leave a comment expressing your opinion. Please, keep these discussions civil and clean, I will delete any inappropriate comments made about this. As stated, I don't want this video to be too divisive, but merely a wake up for the community.
