Finally! We found a NES Classic Edition in town! I got super lucky using BrickSeek and was able to find out that a nearby Wal-Mart had 5 of these things in stock. I called to confirm, drove over and it turns out no one back there knew what I was talking about or where it would have been. When we finally got a hold of someone who knew what they were talking about they had to pull the consoles out of a brand new box they just got in. Wal-Mart was sold out before they even had an opportunity to put them on the shelves!

Unfortunately no controllers were found in the wild. These consoles were also being sold as first come, first serve, one per customer. Better to have one over having none, right?
