We Just Got a Release Date for TT Games’ Next LEGO Game

It’s been a little under three years since we saw the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, a magnum opus from TT Games that would go on to have the biggest launch in LEGO gaming history. Since then, however, there’s been very little information coming out of the company about their next game.

Beyond reports of several cancelled projects, job postings mentioning a major IP and Warner Bros. Discovery demanding its gaming division focus on its own IPs, we haven’t heard much in the last few years, but it seems like 2025 might just be when we start getting more details.

You may remember that, last month, a new job offer for a model designer asked for skills in creating vehicles similar to those seen in the LEGO Speed Champions theme. This led many to speculate that TT Games’ next title would be a LEGO racing game, something I argued was unlikely, as such designs had previously been used in the open worlds of LEGO games with modern, urban settings.

But, just this week, we may have gotten a potential release window. In an article for Bloomberg, Jason Schreier discussed the dire state of Warner Bros.’ upcoming slate of games, with a short mention that one of the few projects still planned for the future was a LEGO title.

A few weeks later, he was invited onto a podcast and confirmed that the title was from TT Games and that its release would potentially be at the end of this year or, more likely, in early 2026. He also added that he would not discuss any more information so that the team could make their own announcement.

Now, while these dates are obviously subject to change and should be taken with a grain of salt, this means the game would likely be revealed at either Summer Game Fest, Gamescom or The Game Awards later this year, but we’ll have to wait and see.
