LEGO Hill Climb Adventures just launched Version 2.0, which brings in a ton of new features as well as several quality of life improvements.

One of the biggest additions is online multiplayer. A new gamemode named Rivals has been added, which lets you race against other players in limited-time events. By winning, you won’t just climb a leaderboard, but will also earn Season Tokens, which you can then exchange for vehicle skins and minifigure parts.

Speaking of which, the game now has its very own character customizer! You’ll earn minifigure parts from playing, which then allow you to create your very own minifigure. These will notably appear on a podium in the Rivals mode should you win, with several more animations than before.

You’ll also earn Perk Points, which you can use to unlock Perks. You can equip up to 15 of them on a vehicle to give it buffs, like increased top speed, additional coin spawns or the ability to discover secrets.

This update also marks the beginning of a new season: Crash Dash. This one is all about destruction and, by earning medals from completing missions, you’ll be able to unlock a ton of rewards, including the new Gravity Shocks gadget as well as Boxie boxes, effectively this game’s version of lootboxes.

Finally, there’s been a variety of quality of life improvements, including an revamped main menu, increased maximum level, reduced reliance on energy and a ton of balancing.
