We Used AI to Make a Game (and it went horribly wrong!) | Game Dev Challenge
250Just like everyone else in the world at the moment, we used some AI tools (eg. Chat GPT, Midjourney, Leonardo) and made a video game together. We had a good laugh and learned a thing or two. A lot of people are unsure about AI, worried about AI or feel that AI is not ethical. We believe it's important that we use it ourselves so we can form our own opinions on AI. We also think that using AI is an excellent way for aspiring game developers to improve their skills and knowledge of game development. If you are going to release a commercial game, or sell your projects, we urge you to use only assets for which you have 100% rights to use.
