Web Of The Empress EVENT – Everything You NEED To Know! | Hunt: Showdown 1896
1,381Hunt: Showdown 1896 Update 2.5 – Web of the Empress is here, bringing creepy new monsters, high-risk nests, powerful tarot cards, fresh scarce weapons, and a ton of gameplay improvements. In this video I’ll break down everything you need to know about the event, from the new Bileweavers and their deadly nest rewards to the latest weapon balance changes, melee tweaks, and battle pass hunters.
The Bileweaver’s Nest is full of exclusive loot including scarce event-only weapons, tarot cards, Destiny’s Dial, restoration kits, traits, hunt dollars, master clues, and more – but only if you can survive the swarm. Meanwhile, tarot cards introduce 12 unique consumables like The Tower, The Fool, The Empress, and The Chariot, each with powerful effects and dangerous tradeoffs.
Update 2.5 also brings new scarce weapons – the Caldwell Homestead 78 and the Winfield Wildland – plus improved melee hit detection, weapon balance changes to the Mako and Vetterli Cyclone, and new ways to use world weapons. Gameplay is also evolving with Powder Kegs, auto-select settings, and quality of life updates across the board.
On top of that, Crytek has overhauled the UI and lobby system, improved audio for footsteps and weapons, and added new cosmetics and hunters in the Web of the Empress battle pass. Hunters included are Stormseer, The Hanged Man, and The Empress herself.
