CM Punk managed to once again retain the World Heavyweight Championship against all odds as the deck was stacked against the Best in the World, but Punk proved why he was the best by putting back 5 hungry challengers to retain his prize he's held since Summerfest. Now Punk will have to look forward to perhaps his toughest challenge to date as Punk will face The Royal Rumble Winner, Kurt Angle in the Main Event at RassleMania 3!
The Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle has already had some problems with Punk's paid goons, The Hounds of Justice, The Shield! The All-Star team of Ryback, Angle and Joshua Bishop were unable to dethrone the Shield and as a result, what condition will these three be in mentally and physically considering the Shield swept them and eliminated them all with relative ease at No Way Out? Will Bishop continue his pursuit to dethrone the Shield? Will Ryback once again help Bishop after his undefeated streak was ended due to an untimely countout at the CPV? Will Angle be able to get past the Shield in order to get his hands on Punk?
Also at No Way Out, Evan Bourne reached the pinnacle and broke the glass ceiling as he beat former Intercontinental Champion Smokey to capture his first major singles title. Will Bourne prove that his title win wasn't a fluke? Who's next to challenge the man they call Born to win?
Finally, it seems like the bad blood between Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger has yet to be settled as Swagger has requested a rematch against Smackdown's resident Showoff! Will Swagger look to redeem the mistake he made against Ziggler by stealing the show himself or will Ziggler look to continue moving onto bigger and better things, which include a possible hint to a rematch with the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels?
