Ok so it's not the huge shark attack you are probably expecting. A reef shark mistook a GoPro for a Lion Fish and tried to have a bite, but who could blame the guy.

Why shoot the Lion Fish? Over the last decade Lion fish have become an invasive species, and with no predators are eating all the local fish (literally 7-10 per day) this means less food for others. Every few months there is a Lion fish hunting derby, and it's the reason guides hunt on sight while diving. If you are diving and see one they are pretty shy, though watch out, their spikes are poisonous and can really hurt you for weeks after the initial sting.

Angela and I have been having a blast and are currently in Nicaragua. The reason this is being uploaded so late is due to a lack of reliable internet on our travels over the past few weeks. Apologies for the delayed upload, but we hope you enjoy, and we have plenty more adventures to share!
