Weekly Runs!!! - Week 13 - Hero Siege - Ep. 1 - A Promising Start
2Week 13 of the Weekly Runs!!! series has me playing Hero Siege by Panic Art Studios. If you ever played Smash TV or Gauntlet growing up or more recently a game like HammerWatch and to an extent The Binding Of Isaac, you'll get the basic idea behind Hero Siege. The game is classified on Steam as a gore filled hack 'n slash game with heavy roguelike elements. To an extent I agree but I think a twin stick shooter RPG with roguelike elements is a bit of a better description. Anyway you look at it, it's simplistic, challenging, addictive and a tremendous amount of fun!
My thanks to the Developers Panic Art Studios. I believe the game was originally on iOS and Droid systems but it made a very nice port to the PC. For a port it's quite good as far as that goes and I hope to see more games from PAS in the future. My hope is PC first games that get ported to the others!
