I had to clean the R/W head on this drive, and when I took it apart I saw the circuit board...
I've never seen a Speed DOS mod that looked that bad.
Commodore just put together what they could lay their hands on and if it didn't fit, they just made it fit!
I think they would have done well in the eastern block too back then ;-)
