Helldivers 2 is a 2024 cooperative third-person shooter game developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5 and Windows. The game is the direct sequel to Helldivers (2015). Set in the 22nd century, the story follows the Helldivers, an elite force of shock troops dispatched to combat various threats to humanity.



Helldivers 2 was released on 8 February 2024 and received positive reviews from critics. The game sold in excess of 12 million copies within three months of its release, becoming PlayStation's fastest selling title of all time, as well as Sony's most successful Windows title. It won a number of awards and has been ranked as one of the best games of 2024
