0In the early 2000s Lego released what may have been their most successful series ever, Bionicle. It swept the nation and kids everywhere loved these multicolored element based heroes and I was no exception. Lego hooked on this success and created a movie telling an epic tale of the Toa discovering a seventh member of their fold and destroying the evil Makuta (at least that is what the story to this point says). This game is a tie in to that first epic movie.... In the worst way.
Nostalgia hit me hard for this game, I remember loving it and adoring it, my favorite toys were in video game form after all, what isn't to like? unfortunately I am older and wiser now and I must say, this is a mess of a game. Nostalgia blindness hit hard, and yet, seeing my childhood heroes in video game form? still as satisfying as it was all those years ago...
Bionicle the game is available on GameCube, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, Microsoft Windows, macOS, Xbox, and Classic Mac OS
